Customising & Designing your own jewellery

If you like a particular style of a piece of jewellery but you would like it made from different beads, browse our beads section to select the shape and colour you like. Use the email link Marion@emgdesigns.co.uk to tell us your requirements. When you email us with an idea our designer will contact you to discuss and clarify your requirements.

Customised items are charged on the same basis as all other items on the website. This means that your jewellery may cost less, the same or more than the piece you are basing the design on, depending on which materials you choose. We will not charge you more just because the piece is being made for you! We will always email you with an exact price of your piece before we go ahead and make it for you.

Please note - to use any customisation feature you need to add the item of jewellery to your basket.

Customising necklaces
Necklaces on a sterling silver snake chain will come as a standard length of 18inches. You can choose a shorter chain of 16 inches or a longer chain of 20 inches at no extra charge. If you do not require a chain the cost of the item will be reduced by £2.00.

Customising bracelets
You may want your bracelet shorter or longer than the length described. Please email us with your requirements Marion@emgdesigns.co.uk.

Customising earrings
Most earrings can be customised using different ear wires. See the list of wires in the detailed description of each pair of earrings. If you want to customise the earring design please use the email facility. Marion@emgdesigns.co.uk.
